Shamwari Game Drives-Day 2

Wow! Wow! Wow! It just keeps getting more spectacular! First drive at 6AM; heading out for our second in about an hour....wonder what we'll see next? Hoping for more lions and leopards as well as some cheetahs, baboons and hippos. You just can't imagine how amazing it is to sit and observe these animals in the wild-they are simply incredible! We've also seen an amazing assortment of birds; and we've learned how not only to try to visually spot animals, but also how to listen to the sounds of the springboks, the blaze boks, the kudus and the birds to hear their alarms when they spot a predator. Also, enjoy the warthogs-we have a warthog family that cruises the grounds of the hotel. They are hysterical!
